Sadie's Haven Horse Rescue and Sanctuary (www.sadieshaven.com) is an all volunteer, non-profit corporation. Our purpose is to provide safe and experienced care and shelter for equines that are neglected, abused and/or abandoned. Our non-profit re-homes and networks ridable and younger horses.
We provide sanctuary to older horses and those with special needs that would end up at auction/slaughter.
Sadie's Haven also gives educational tours and day camp programs for the community with special consideration for underprivileged children and teens. We provide the youngsters of our community with an opportunity to perform community service hours for their school projects where they learn responsibility, compassion, commitment and love of animals.
